I finally got around to printing some medium format photos of my not so recent trip to Cowtown, NJ (yes, it is really called Cowtown).
Love: Anjelica Huston
I’m certainly not the first person to remark on the curious beauty of Anjelica Huston, and I won’t be the last. She has this dark, intelligent glamor that I really admire. Netflix “Prizzi’s Honor” or “The Dead” and you’ll understand. Plus, she dated a young Jack Nicholson.
Obsessed: J’aime mon carre
I’m kind of obsessed with the new Hermès scarf campaign, targeted towards young creatives (rather than rich old ladies). Not that I can afford these scarves, but if I could, believe me– I would totally wear them all (possibly at the same time).
I’m a total sucker for a flashy site, and Hermès doesn’t disappoint. The narrative is centered around a collection of bohemian, urban characters and features interviews and some really lovely short film.
Click around, the styling is certainly inspired. This campaign really captures the spirit and utility of the scarf. My passion for scarves has officially been reignited.
Inspiration: Gainsbourg (Vie héroïque)
Cannot wait to see this debut film from comic book artist Joann Sfar. It’s quite difficult to find a subtitled version of the trailor, so you’ll have to check out imdb.
I’m on a boat
Yes. I went to the rodeo and it ruled
Last weekend I went to Cowtown, New Jersey with some friends to see the rodeo and camp (yes, I camped). Cowtown is an idyllic little world only half an hour away Philadelphia. I felt like I was in another dimension. Most of these photos are by Rachel Playe.
Things I loved about June, in no particular order
Yes, I know it’s already July but between moving from a house full of crazy boys to my own apartment left me with no time to post much of anything! Read more about June after the jump. Trust me, it was pretty exciting.
Lomographilly
I’ve been having a total blast biking around Philly, capturing all sorts of images with my Diana F+.
